There is an interesting article on the AF Condor SS in the March 2015 issue of American Rifleman.  It mentions how many people are getting into air rifles due to .22 ammo shortage.

It is good to get air gun exposure to a point, but unfortunately it was written from a "how fast will it shoot" mentality rather than an accuracy and efficiency perspective... I guess we all need to crank up our PCP's and see how fast we can get a pellet to shoot... Bet we could get 1500 fps out of most of these PCP's or more and might even be able to still hit a coke can at 25 yards most of the time... Hopefully with exposure, the NRA will get someone from the PCP community to contribute to the magazine... Then again, I do sort of like being able to play with my "bb guns" and not draw any attention to how lethal and quiet they really can be...

  As a hobby we as the interested parties need to keep in mind that the image we present to the world is key to maintaining our hobby as a fun sport and the hunting capabilities are just a small portion of what we are and what we do

    Agreed, also guys the Friends of the NRA are one of our 4-H clubs biggest grant suppliers, which is a massive help getting our club up and adding needed equipment each year.

 +100% I read a well rounded complete NRA writeup about the condor lineup. The only critique I have is "Please don't shoot golf balls as pellets could bounce back toward you or  ricochet in unintended directions.
