  So I bought the charging adapter for the Gas piston and already have a Hill Pump since the adapter screws in and depresses the schrader valve pin when you are done pumping to the desired pressure do you just unscrew the adapter from the charging port while the adapter is still connected to the hand pump? Or is there some better way to do this

If your adapter is the same as mine, it does not depress or open the Schrader valve.  The valve opens when the outside pressure is greater than the inside pressure, i.e., pumping.  When you are done, simply detach the pump and screw out the adapter.

when you are able to, should you desire to, get a pressure gauge so you may "Fine tune" your RX.

Beeman used to sell one for it that's in BAR...I don't know if they still do.

Beeman recommends 24 BAR max.

I run mine at 22 BAR for shooting 20 cal, 13 grain, JSB and H&N Barracuda pellets

the more the pressure, the more the cocking effort...

Thanks for the info. My Hill pump has a fairly accurate gauge and at the moment I am chronyed with the Beeman FTS 11.42 pellets at a solid 910 fps for 20 fpe and stacking the pellets 1 ragged hole
