IF that is an FWB -124 then be very carefull. These guns are exceptionally accurate. The main issue is the piston seal. If they have set for any length of time the seal will be bad, unless it has been replaced by a aftermarket poly seal such as what JM sells. The original builds had a paraffin base piston seal. After time they become dry and fall apart. Not a bad price even if it has a bad seal. I think JM sells the seal and replacement springs for around $70.00 to $80.00.
Have tunes alto of the babies and let me tell you they are very sweet shooters. Once used in the Olympics Field Target com petion back when...

I still have an old Bushnell scope just like that on an old Marlin single shot .22. An Air rifle would put that scope to death in short order if it isn't already bad. The rifle is pretty, nice shape. Be nice to see down the barrel and see if it was taken care of. If it was, after a tune up, it would be a tack driver. They don't build them like that anymore. Well not cheaply anyway *grin*

Dollars to doughnuts it will need a seal. I just checked JM's site and his Arctic Kit is still $70 plus shipping. He also has a new high powered kit for about $20 more. I picked up a 124 a while back and the seal is kaput. White mealy stuff came out of the transfer port. Been debating putting in the kit, just a seal or selling it. I think mine is the same vintage as the one pictured. And I got a Blue Ribbon scope with it, too. No sights but a ribbed brake and FWB rear sight plate. And a metal trigger.
The gun on auction will likely hit at least $400. Someone just sold a tuned 124, no scope, for not a lot more than that. Add in shipping and $80 for a DIY JM kit and you're at $500. I don't think they are worth that much. The Bushnell scope is worth maybe $35 - $50. Those are for .22's and have a built-in base for tip off grooves. Not a bad little scope.

I don't think it would be worth more than $375 shipped, the stock appears to have been sprayed with a clear laquer finish and you will have a very difficult time finding the original FWB fixed sights for less than $100.
This 124D was probably manufactured before 1978 hence the plastic trigger and 150XXX serial number all later models were upgraded with metal triggers.
I also agree that the seals need to be changed after 10 years so you have to consider replacement.
The scope is not appropriate for this airgun.
I purchased my FWB124D new in 1982 and it is a really nice airgun.

Yep, the FWB 124 are sweet shooters, it just screams QUALITY !!! I picked my 124D up last year, got lucky mine came w/ a correct period Blue Ribbon scope. They don't make them like that anymore.
here's a pic....
