remington express vs diana 280

It appears the Brits think quite highly of this rifle!  I picked up 2 of these from Midway at the crazy price of $78.00 and after reading the following pieces I know I am going to be most pleased .  They are in the hands of wildman510 for a tune/clean up, one I am keeping the other going to a friend.

They don't have much of a following over here just because they fall into that mid-power range, budget priced category but man I will not trade mine for anything. Mine's not tuned and it leaves holes where The crosshair points. Can't wait for a tune and trigger work to make it that much better. Also can't wait for the mini version to come out.

I just bought one too. After seeing the reviews and reading the chat. $92 shipped I don't have a lot of expectations but if it's anything like the reviews then great.

Wish they had that price on the .22 cal though.

I wouldn't sweat not having the .22. From what I've seen the gun's velocities are a tad bit slower than say an XS25 platform. Just about perfect for a heavy grain .177 pellet. That is unless someone was to drop in a more powerful spring haha.
