Bench rest, sand bag,wooden blocks ,forked stick,whats is best???

I use a bipod for hunting and a Caldwell bag rest full of old t-shirts for shooting off the bench. Both work well for me when using the G1 or Venom NP. I have a monopod, it's okay but not as steady as a bipod is for springers. You just have to try different ways that will work best for you. Good Luck!

Although I am in the September of my years, I'm relatively new to air guns.  There is a post somewhere herein discussing the merits of a roller front rest.  Here's mine and it works for me.....I reckon.

I get best results with resting my springers directly on the bag with off hand under the butt.
I use a Caldwell front bag NOT filled to capacity so the gun kind of settles in.
Works great with every gun I have.
I also shoot some HFT and zeroing on the bench seems to work well with the rifles on the sticks.
TX and 98 like about an inch between the trigger guard and bag, 97 and Pro Sport lilt the guard right up against the bag.
All other fundamentals remain the same.....light hold all around, tip of trigger finger on trig, thumb straight up, slow steady pull and FOLLOW THROUGH!
One of my favorite things is finding my rifle's sweet spot!

I use 3 socks filled with corn cob media.  2 run parallel to the barrel and the 3rd laying crosswise on top of them...thats the one the stock rests on. The socks stretch and really become media filled tubes.   My other hand swings under to the butt where there is a smaller sock that I squeeze for elevation.  I like this better than my caldwell shooting bags!  Very simple and cheap.
