How would you rate the damage on this seal?

I'm curious how some of you experienced tuners would rate the samage to this seal.

I agree change it. I have had great luck with JM apex seals.

Looks pretty rough. Actually looks like it's been operating inside a pretty rough chamber. Definitely needs some hone/debur work before installing a new seal.

I think the damage is from before I deburred.  I deburred the openings with a file and sanded the edges w/ 400.  I think the openings are pretty good.  The other side of the piston seal looks pretty good so I think the inside of the chamber is in good shape.

A new seal is on the way from MM.  He also gave me some tips about moly application that I'm going to keep in mind when I install it.

Looks about like my factory Gamo seals. lol Definatly replace. Sounds like you chave a good handle on it. Nice deburring and lube job with a new seal and your gun will be firing so much better and will love you back.
