how to drain a condor tank?

Besides shooting it till empty how would i go about draining it? I was thinking of building a rig like a blast cage with a big c clamp so i could slowly put pressure on the lip of the valve not the face of it to slowly release pressure. But there has to be something out there already or some good ideas at least to safely do it. I have plenty of time to think it through. Im still wait8ng to place my order for the etacreg.

If you have the AF fill adapter...just find a small nylon nut and put it inside the adapter so it sits on the tophat.  Slowly screw the adapter on and the nut will depress the tophat letting it drain...go slow!  Worked like a charm for me.  Others have used a dime or a penny.

Also...use a rag or the like while holding the adapter...it gets cold!

     Yes this, I have used a nylon spacer just like the nylon nut, either will work just fine.

IMO the easiest and safest way to empty a Condor tank is to insert a dime into the valve cap if you have one.  It is an Air Force accessory which protects the valve from dirt and damage when the tank is not in use, and off the gun.

After you insert the dime or nickel (or 2 dimes) to the bottom of the cap, screw the cap onto the valve like you usually do.  After a few turns the dime (or nickel whichever you prefer) that's in there will start pushing the valve in and release the air.  Just screw it in slowly and stop when you hear the air coming out to release the air steadily.  You can screw it in more or less to get the desired flow.

You can insert a dime in the AF fill adapter and it will do the same thing.
