RWS 850 and JT cylinders leaks

Just got a used 850 and with the Crosman airsource bottles it worked fine.I bought the 90g JT brand at Wal-Mart and as I screwed it in all the gas came out.what gives? The end of the JT seems to have a longer section past the threads than the Crosman. Can this be it? I have no more Crosman cylinders to try out.

f you look it appears the front end of the JT is longer so when the piercing cap hits it it's not sealing up against the shoulder in the co2 leaks out.
