My NVD has been a consistently good shooter and it's time to treat her to a new suit. What is the nicest wood stock that available for my rifle?

It all depends on your taste. Almost any of the non-magnum Crosman, Benjamin, Remington springers should be close to a drop in replacement although you might need to buy a trim piece or something to finish the job. I've got my Trail in a Remington Summit stock right now and I like that but I'm probably going to pick up an NVD stock for it eventually. I've got an NVD also and I really like the feel of that stock.
There are probably a ton of stocks from other makers that would also fit with minor mods but I don't think anyone has the parts availability. I'm kind of interested in a Xisico XS25 bamboo stock and that might be doable through Flying Dragon.

Looks like the Remington Summit is one of the nicer stocks that will fit the Trail, Titan & NVD

If you get a wooden stock from Crosman and it feels a little tacky just let it sit for a few weeks/months. Both my NV wood and Summit stocks were "sticky" feeling at first but are now nice and hard feeling.

Rock it is right. If I tried to make my own, it would look like a rock!

I have a Titan stock that I want to put on my NVD, but it is not exactly a drop in. Something is keeping the action from sitting properly. Has anyone else put a Titan stock on an NVD? Did you have to modify it to fit?

I did use a NVD stock on a Titan. In looking up part numbers I did notice there was a different part number for the stamped steel part that the rear stock mount screw goes through. I used the Titan part on the NVD stock with no problem but it might not work using a Titan stock on the NVD.

I'd love to but first I need to have an action worthy of one if your stocks. Do you have any roughed out but inletted for the airhawk?

I ordered the #B19-7-04-00 stock from Crosman for my NVD. As I recall from viewing the schematics it was a common number for the Titan and Remington similar model. I received a very nice stock, but it was not a drop-in swap. Had to slightly modify, clean out and enlarge the rear action area along with the front mounting holes with my Dremel. No way of knowing if all the stocks would come through like this or if some are a drop-in fit. Still a great deal and look, plus the gun shoots much quieter and the fit and feel for me is perfect.

Thanks Jus Tom. That is the part number of the stock I want. Maybe later this week I'll get a chance to call and place the order. Crosman is a joy to deal with for parts. Great folks.

What nice folks to work with. I just ordered a new stock, a lug brace, the metal trigger guard and hopefully the metal muzzle break all for less than 33 bucks delivered. Pictures when the bling gets installed.

Back to your original question. The best stock for your gun is the one you make yourself... It's a personal fit....
