This came up on my news last night and couldn't keep from laughing! This happened less than a mile for the house so I'm think about going and knocking on some doors to see if I can go after some live targets. Anything I need to know before I go after them?

Using a 850 Airmagnue in .177 in the middle of doing all the power upgrades now.

Just kidding, I called the sheriff department yesterday after I read it. They thought it was rather funny, but they said since this was not the first time it's happened in the area they were going to try and catch it for testing. I'm let them have this one 😉

But he did say that they were considered a pest, and are fair game anytime of the year with no restrictions. (Just don't be stupid) he said to check about the use of air rifles, but what I found last night said pest/nuisance could be taken with anything, just to make it clean and quick by using a gun big enough for the animal in question.

I'm going to call one of the local wardens this afternoon to double check that tho.

Just a side note, we have a few more airgunners in the area, we need to get together, we do shot most every Saturday at the range in new Albany, I am there with my air guns, and sometimes another of us or 2.

LOL! It really is in my backyard! As the crow flys is less than a mile from the house, I didn't even know we had any around here.

I haven't forgot about getting together, just have been covered up! Hoping winter will give me a chance to get a breather.

 A couple of years ago our area had a woodchuck in the news as well. Stealing American flags from a cemetery . Made the local news. At 1st they assumed it was kids, then they set up camera's.
