Jman is correct that the Trail NP is very quiet compared to the B-26. Both are great guns and as far as accuracy goes I would tend to say the Trail can be more accurate due to the fact that it would be the easiest to learn to shoot. Nothing wrong with B-26 at all and I do own one which I love to shoot. It is very very accurate in my hands.

The Trail gun has more to offer in an AG, but the triggers do need to be replaced if you want to get the best accuracy out of the rifle! Nothing wrong with the B26 I have 3 of them all tuned with match triggers, but they can be a little hard to shoot well untill you've spent some time with it. And your also talking a spring gun over a gas ram gun, gas rams have a very good shot cycle out of the box and a spring gun can be a little rough in the shot cycle untill tuned or broken in good.

the trigger doesnt really make your acurracy suffer if you feel ok with it. I still have mine with the stock trigger and have gotten .3 inch 3 shot groups at 27 yards

I have a fondness for the B26's both mine are deadly accurate and the trigger is good. I've taken everything from nutters, G-hog's, Country Rat's and Bandit's with my B26's. A very good hunting and target killing shooter. Ed

have to disagree with you on the trigger issue Jman...... While you may have gotten a fairly reasonable trigger on yours out of the box, that is not the norm.....These rifles (titan, trail) do not generally have what I would call a "good" trigger, and are in need of replacement to truly see their potential....... after the trigger mod....I can put 5 shots in a dime with boring regularity at 30 yds........And this is not off a bench, but from a standing rested position................The B-26's are indeed good guns....loved the one I had....shot hard and with a little work, are excellent guns.....

The B26 has a way better trigger, out of the box. Nitro will be a little quieter and probably more powerful. I actually have the NPSS and not the Nitro Trail so can't make a direct comparison, but I will say my NPSS is a little easier to shoot with (trigger replaced, naturally). I think the Trail is heavier than B26, but can't verify?

this is what I shoot with the b26 ,28 yards and I'm not a good shooter, a good shooter with one tuned b26 must shoot almost hole in hole at that distance, not bad i think and its a challenge good shooting whit the b26.

the b26 is far superior to the np guns... buy one, tune it and tell me that the NP is quieter... not at all. plus they are consistent and the triggers are much more precise to adjust than the crosmans.
