RWS 300R?

I would like to know if the 300R is basically(are the internal components the same  or similar ) a RWS 46 with a 7 shot repeating mechanism?

Enquiring minds want to know.

Sorta, kinda maybe not really I guess. The 46 uses a flip up loading port and the 300R uses a rotary mag that is indexed every time you cock the rifle.
Not sure but I believe the internals (spring, seal trigger) were similar.

  They are exactly the same internally except for the mag system on the 300.

  They use Model 34 internals for power, piston seal, spring, etc................

I had a 300R, and own several 46's.

The 300R is more like a 460 than a 46. The stock fore-end is rounded like the 460, the 46 stocks more square. The receiver tube is the same size as the 460; larger than the 46. The 300R is heavier and (I think) a bit longer than a 46. Pretty sure the 300R uses the same piston seal and spring as a 34 and 46.

I sold the 300R because I prefer the handling of the 46's, and I was afraid that something in the repeating mechanism would break. The new owner has kitted it and says it is very accurate.

I am very fond of the Diana 46.
The loading sequence is easy and requires few motions compared to other under lever guns, and they are incredibly accurate.
The .177's tend to have tight bores that shoot small headed pellets well, and the .22's shoot about anything you stuff in them decent.
I have HW77's and TX200's but usually shoot a 46.

They are kinda ugly though.

I recently got a chance to shoot an early 34 with a T01 trigger.  I liked it so much I am in the process of aquiring one

Of course that leads me to the question, what are differences between the T01, T05(I think that is on the 300R) and the T06 triggers?

Based on your info I would expect the 300R to have a similar shot cycle though.

I have no experience with a 460.
The shot cycle on a 46 or 300R is typical Diana; pretty crappy. I guess being lower powered they should have less "recoil" and the same amount of twang/vibration as a 460?

  To be honest, when they are adjusted correctly, I cant discern much difference between the TO1 TO5 or TO6, and I own or have owned rifles that cover all three trigger variants.
  The 46 is nothing like shooting the 460. I have the 470TH version of the 460, and it is a hard hitting beast. The Model 46 is a pussycat compared to it.
  The 46 has a pretty docile shot cycle that seems to be a bit less than the Model 34, but only just a bit. The 46 benefits greatly from a Vortek spring kit to eliminate the Diana SPROIIINNGGG, or else have it professionally gone through.

I am more familiar with the Air Arms rifles such as the TX200 and Pro Sport.

Which is more like the TX200 in terms of how they shoot, the 46 or the 460?

  Definitely the 46.

  The 46 was built to compete with the TX, but it fell a bit short of the TX in the power department owing to its longer transfer port from piston face, through flip up breech, to barrel.

  The 460, while you can make one a smooth shooter, is just way more rifle, generating way more power than the TX or 46, and it acts like it during the shot cycle.
