Schmidt & Bender 3-27X56 PMII High Power

Did anyone here tried the Schmidt & Bender 3-27X56 PMII High Power? Did you like it?

The high to low power ratio is extremely high. I know those things are a sack of cash and a half, but for what I'd be using it for, I would rather see the cost delivered somewhere else rather than making the spread in magnification so wide. How close can it focus on high magnification?

 Hello.. I have used that scope...not for ur applications but for long range shooting...i don't own this scope but i have used it...I like it for my purposes...so did the guy who owned it..the only down side for me was the reticle...i don't like it...to much for me and adds a lot of confusion...and for that much in money...a down side to mer was it is not in the FFP...With that much zoom It would have to be a FFP and not SFP

That's a 9X zoom ratio !!!!  I didn't even know it was possible to fit such a ratio into a rifle scope.  I have to wonder about the practical uses of such a ratio with target shooting on the top and stalking/hunting on the bottom, they seem mutually exclusive for one gun.  My opinion of course.

Interesting piece none the less.
