Forgotten how accurate my 2289 is :).

I have mostely been plinking at half inch spinners at about 25 yards for a while with my 2289, and
not
punching paper or hunting with it. Well yesterday I had bumped the red dot sight on it enough to nock it off target, so I did some paper punching to get it back on zero. When I zero a sight I do 3 shot groups, and my little 2289 with a 18 inch barrel, and a crown I put on it (11 degree target crown) was doing one holers with each group, just a slight ovaling of the holes. Then I put a 15 shot group through the bull and it was a one holer (a little bigger than the 3 shot groups though not much), with the exception of 2 flyers.
In short I am amaized at the accuracy of this little AirRifle of mine. It is amaizing how fast one can forget the accuracy of one of there Rifles when they just plink at half inch spinners for a while with that Rifle. It is equal in accuracy to my Daisy 880 at least at 25 yards, I may have to do some longer range shooting with it to see how it compares out to 80 yards
