Mac 1 LD on the way!

Timmy of Mac 1 called me on Tues. 3/26 to tell me my Mk 1 LD is on it's way and should be here in two days, great news for me, BAD NEWS for starlings!
I've never met Timmy Mac before and only spoke to him twice on the phone and it was like we've known each other for 30 years. We talked about the gun, of course, and about pesting and shoulder stocks also went over mounts and rings. Though we talked about these things  there was something that I picked up on in our conversation that was not material and that was Timmy Mac's enthusiasm. After 30 years in the air gun business you could still hear the excitement in his voice and could feel his passion when he spoke of a build. This man knows and loves his job and I would not hesitate to have another custom gun built by him!

Great news. Did you get left handed grips with the pistol? Seems to me you were looking for a set.

The gun is a solid performer on HPA, but is no slouch using CO2. There are two sources for wire stocks should you choose to go that route.

Timmy Mac told me he would look in his box of grips thought he might have a set or two. The LD should be here this afternoon so we shall see. I love this guy, great customer service and a money back guarantee if for any reason you don't like the gun. Should be testing my starling buster today!

You have two options. First, is a nice basic wire stock with optional cheek riser from LarryR. He is a forum member on the Yellow Forum and periodically lists his stocks for sale on the Yellow Classifieds. I purchased one from Larry.

Option 2 is a really nice and fancy version from AdaminSoCal. He is a forum member on the Yellow and Talon Airgun Forum. I believe his login is WalkonKing on the TAG forum.

Oh, and a third option, if you are flush with cash, is to commission Steve Corcoran to make one of his beautiful walnut stocks for the LD. I have one on order with him right now and expect to have it in hand in the next couple of weeks.
