Disassembly guide - Manual pump from Flying Dragon

Here is a photo-heavy disassembly guide for the high pressure manual pump available from Flying Dragon Air Rifles (http://flyingdragonairrifles.org/high_pressure_pcp_pump.html)

The guide will be updated, as needed. There is a small version, and a large version (Lg and Sm, in the file names, respectively). The larger file has better photo quality.

Thanks. I didn't clean mine and it is working good so far.

You definitely don't _have_ to clean it. I just wanted to ensure that I could set mine up to go as long as possible before I had to dive in, again. Some of the Chinese products have a lot of machining and assembly grit and grime in them. Some don't. I don't like to gamble, is all.

My dad's pump has been going for over a year, and it never had anything done to it. Granted, when I opened it the other day, in order to compare the base internals, it was REALLY dirty, inside, and there was a lot of water. That reinforced my desire to finish my moisture filter. (The glue should be dry, this morning, so I think everything with my pump is "finished".) Now that I have one working pump in the house, I'll tear down and clean my dad's pump, next.

I am planning to add a refrigeration dryer by screwing it into the right handle and plugging of the other intake hole. And, some rubber under the pump and legs to soften the jolt at the bottom of a stroke.

Much better than the included instructions-

 I've done a bit more than your "one side only"

I hung down from each side-
90 elbow glued into handle end, (Drilled out for more flow)
(And added an extra in handle filter on each side, made from the
new white cleaning foam stuff)
Brass coupler plug fitting Drilled out, (stock=0.186" ID, mine=0.230")
Quick coupler body on top of,  (for easy removal )
Inline dessicant dryer then
Inline air filter, (the throw away type, cheap n easy)

I'll make a split hose for boosting the pump if I ever try that
The XS60C is easy to pump up, (I pump my 13XX's about 20 minimum)

To bad you do not have pics of what you did. Did you tap a hole for the filter?
