.177 airhawk chrono #'s

put the airhawk across the chrono, today. it's shooting the CPH'S at an average of 957 fps. with an extreme spread of 3 fps. that's just a tad over 16 fpe.
 the RWS super domes are averaging 939 fps., but, have an extreme spread of 27 fps. they also have a lower bc. ( something like 130 vs the 230 of the CPH's ), so, they lose more energy, faster , than the CPH's, roughly 6 fpe at 50 yds vs 10 fpe for the crosmans.
the CPH's are shooting good groups, so, i'll keep using them.

Mine is averaging about 900fps with Crosman Premiers, giving out just over 14 ft-lbs, which is about what they're supposed to be capable of. My Diana 34 (which is what the Airhawk is a copy of) is giving more or less the same figures as your rifle...

As much fun as I'm having shooting the hawk, I think my hat sans are getting jealous.
