I know many out there don't give Gamo much credit for looks and shooting accuracy. These 3 Gamos have been tuned with new maccari kits and CDT triggers and they are great shooters. They are nice and light and feel nice in ones hand. Stocks have been refinished with True Oil. They are from top to bottom top gun 880 22 cal self tuned middle gun 880 .177 Shadow tuned. and 220 Hunter .177 self tuned [ I did not stain the stock on this gun] These 3 guns hold a special place among my RWS,Beeman, Sumatras. They are just pleasant ,accurate and just plain fun to shoot. Click on photo for larger size

Im not a fan of the new Gamo's but I do have a 220 hunter. I consider it one of my most accurate guns. Unfortunately I am limited in the winter to 10 yards in the basement but here is a group.

Jimdaero you are correct about your 220 Hunter accuracy. I paid $28 for mine when I bought it. Gun shot hard and was in fairly decent shape. I did a lube tube , new pisto seal, new E3650 spring from ARh and a CDT trigger.I have put about 100 pellets down the barrel since the tune. Yesterday I sat outside and was shooting 20 ga shot gun shells{with primer side showing laying down] with ease at 25 yds. The gun averages 854 Fps with 10 shots and with an ES of 7fps. I could not ask for a better shooting spring gun for the money I spent.

Jim I bought it on the air gun site of auction arms. I could not believe no one else bid on it. She was in really good shape. The only problem was the hard pulling trigger. I could have left it as it was with out a tune job because it was still shooting over 800+ fps.and just added the "charlie the tuna trigger".
