Converting Benjamin Trail NP all weather

 I was just curious if some of you guys knew about what it costs to switch out the Benjamin trail np's all weather stock back to the wood stock? The best I can tell from searching other posts, it looks like I will need the stock, front trigger guard screw, and the trigger guard. I would really prefer a metal trigger guard, and was wanting to know does anyone know the part number of one that actually worked with the trail np wood stock and about what the total cost would be to make the swap?

If you go to crossmans website they have parts diagrams and you can order anything you want straight from them,the stocks arent very exspensive

I was thinking the Non XL and the Titan used the same stock.  If so, the Remington version had a metal trigger guard that fit on a NVD stock that fit my Titan.

I ordered a new stock for my Rem Summit and it was something like $27 and that included the $4 SH.  Crosman's parts seem to be very reasonable overall.

If you look at the parts break down the Titan and Trail NP stocks are different, small differences, like checkering on the pistol grip, etc.. either will work. I have changed a couple out and converted my Regal to a Trail including swapping the compression chamber.

You will need....... a Trail NP stock...$28'ish....Regal trigger guard (metal).......$8'ish, all 3 stock screws for the wood stock...$8'is for all 3......I can't remember exactly but it was a little less than $40 shipped to my front door.

JR has it about right.   I just did to my trail exactly what you want to do.   Rounding up the costs, the stock was $29 and the metal trigger guard was $5. Add $4 shipping and you are done.
For the front screw, it is just a black wood screw that crosman charges too much for.  3/4" long #8 or #10.   Wait until you get your other stuff and hit a big box store for one when you get the other hardware to swap the Philips screws for hex head cap screws.

The wood stock will likely take a little inletting to get it to fit right.  A deep well socket with sandpaper to open up the barrel channel and some fine files in other places.  I also had to adjust the trigger assembly, it was angled 1 way for the plastic stock, and bound up when set in the wood stock.  Also a good time to strip and refinish the stock.   I need to get a picture of mine up on my rebuild thread.

Thanks guys, thats pretty much exactly what I was wanting to know. If I ever get my parts in and I can get this thing dialed in and shooting like it should have straight out of the box, then I will definately be putting a nice wood stock on this gun. So out of the stocks that will fit this gun, is the trail np hardwood stock the nicest looking one?

I know you are interested in wood stocks so throwing this out for information only. The Trail NP action will also fit in the TR77 stock for that tactical look.

I don't think you can call any of the crosman wood stocks nice until you strip off the factory finish and do it right.
But the finish does come off easy with good stripper and a little time.
