Cold and Snow

  Got up at 4am to clean the driveway and wifes car she is an RN at a childrens hospital 26 miles from my home. She got off of her last training shift yesterday at 3:30 (15:30 eastern ) and spent 4.5 hours driving home in bumper to bumper traffic on snow covered roads. Today starts her first 12 hour shift at 7am this morning so she was in the car and on the road at 4:30am to get there on time .  Days like this make me really appreciate the dedication and caring that goes into the makeup of a good nurse. My good fortune is finding someone like her to be a part of my life

Her first 16 years as an LPN she worked in a Pediatric private practice and wanted to do more so  20 months ago she went back to school at 49 to become an RN so now she can give the same care and compassion to really sick kids in the pediatric hospital

  Amen to having a good wife. I had a near fatal stroke in October 2012 and life has not been the same since. Long story short, when I just wanted to give up she put her game face on and pushed me. With 3 kids at home, and me, she continued to be the last one to bed and the first one up every day. She's not afraid to do anything around here that needs done even if that means getting grubby. She loves to work in the sawmill with me and that's great therapy. And she likes guns. Those of us with this caliber of woman are truly blessed.

Don u are truly blessed with a great wife however dont sell yourself short cause you are also a great man im sure she saw many qualities in you as well  ...you both are great people and i wouldnt mind having u as neighboors especially when i get sick or when i want to shoot ags lol  ..God is great !and thats why you,re together cause you both have good hearts and have plenty in common and the love you guys share is nothing that you can get at any jewelery store it is priceless  ...God Bless you both ! ....jorge
