Air gun prises...NZ
«

There seems to be no rime or reason to air gun prises
here "NZ"...We can get Hatsan's at pretty good prises.
But try and buy a Gamo...The cheapest I could fined
was a Shadow for $499 all the way up to a Hunter extreme
for a princely $1600...( I will retype that so yer don't think
its a typeo > $1600)...Any way like I was going to spend $500
on a Gamo... So I crunched a few numbers ...& I now have a
big cat on the way from PYD-air via Airgun exporter for
$317NZ...like half the prise including shipping....
When the *(&^ are these shops over here going to realise
Gamo's are junk and sell them for junk prises...Prob never
as over here Joe blogs half wit has this idea they are a top of the line gun.
PS.... And the big cats scoped...
I think there may be a few $ to made here.... Could add a $100
on to the prise of each gun & still be hundreds cheaper than the
shop prises here....

The prices are high because the ruling class does not want the people of NZ to own AGs. And most likely any type of guns. It is a form of "gun control". A tax.
And the power to tax , is the power to destroy.
If I am wrong please let me know.

On the other hand, you guys can get Krals, which are almost the same as a Gamo, especially the CFX version. The markup doesn't make a lot of sense, though, since I am assuming you are paying the same import duties as the gun wholesalers. Sounds like price fixing. What are the other most popular air guns? Could it be they just want to price the Gamo's so high that they steer you to another, otherwise more expensive, brand? (i.e. - You wouldn't pay $1600 for a Gamo but you might then go for $1000 for something else.)

Hi..
I really can't figger it out...
Its only Gamo's that over the top prise wise.
Hatsan run in the $300 to $400 range
Krals around $300
Norica $300/$400
Diana's up to $1000
Then a raft of cheap Chinese guns starting at $70 up..
I'm at a loss to know how the Gamo importer comes
up with there prises...
Any import duty would be the same for each brand
like wise with shipping etc....
I think hes using Gamo's perceived quality to
line there pockets...
