HW50S from Pyramyd - checkered stock?

The photo on line shows a checkered stock, but other places I look at the 50S is has a plain stock - no checkering.

If you order a 50S from Pyramyd do they have the checkered stock?

I called and asked someone there yesterday, and the person on the phone said yes, but they sounded a little iffy and not sure.  I  don't think I got their most knowledgeable person on the phone by the rest of the conversation.

Yes it is the checkered stock. Ordered one myself last year. They are really nice stocks. Made by Minelli of Italy who also makes the stocks for Daystate and Air Arms and several others. Hey Guys,

If I get the 50S that's my budget for a while - no cash for tunes or kits - so I'd be shooting it box stock for a good while.  How smooth or buzzy/twangy is it out of the box, or after a little break in any way?

I did not notice a bunch of twang, actually no bad sound at all.
