i have a rws 48 on the way

so i was wondering what pellets it likes? do all 48's like the same pellets or all different (that wouldnt make sense to me)
but all i have shot is a old crosman with bb's

Trial and error. Each gun likes a pellet and it can be a different one than a sequentially numbered gun.
Start with JSB's, H&N FTT's, RWS Superdomes and Crosman Premier. I would say 90% of guns like one of these. PA's buy 4 pay for 3 is a great way to build a variety of pellets. If it is a new gun, just shoot some cheap pellets to break it in, than after a tin or two go for groups. Clean the barrel before trying a new pellet.

i dont know anything about scopes so i hope this ones good for awhile

While I don't have a favorite yet, I have had decent results with JSB Jumbo Heavies and Crosman Premier Domes.  I also got a tin of H&N Field Target Trophy - I have not shot enough of these to judge 'em yet.

One thing that's interesting is that the point of impact of the JSB Jumbos are actually a bit higher than the Crosmans even though the JSBs are almost 4 grains heavier...  I have to assume that the softer lead is allowing the Jumbos to travel through the barrel with less friction and more speed (?) ...  The Crosmans seem to be made of pretty firm feeling lead  so I can't imagine they deform as much inside the barrel.  I don't (yet) have a chrony so I can't say this for sure.

Wise choice in guns. Mine likes the 18 grain JSB pellets and also the 18 grain H&N Baracuda hunter pellets.
