Get yourself a straight shooters muzzle brake for that 50. It's a nice weight and makes cocking a bit easier ......http://www.straightshooters.com/ss-muzzlebrake.html
Mine should be here on the 5th. $39 for the brake seems reasonable; however, $14.90 UPS ground shipping to an adjacent state seems to be 'gilding the lily', IMO. Oh well, it's only money, eh?
Now I get the dinosaur dog trainer after 500 posts you become a double old timer. Sometimes leaving your comfort zone makes for life more interesting but that is not always necessarily a good thing just more interesting My wife is an RN and where change is concerned she's not real good with it but again sometimes leaving your comfort zone makes things batter as she has found out over time. Just get your friend the machinist to help. Good luck on the journey

What are you tightening, are there set screws in the brake itself. Just remember the caliber of man that is asking this question. If you need help with that read title of other thread I started "Dumb And Dumber"
