You own your home and the land it sits on,but how deep in the ground does your ownership go?
Let's see now my 150x150ft lot at 12,000 miles deep....wow that's a bunch of acres

What are you planning? Digging a basement maybe?
You may own the home. You may own the land. But do you really own either, or are you leasing them from the government? If you don't keep up your payments (property taxes and irrigation assessments) the state will eventually take ownership.
