Betting you will find the 95 to be more versatile, and the newer R9's have some nice improvements as documented by Nced here I think. Really need both though. I would get the 95 first, and fill in with the 50s when you can. Probly didn't help, lol, tk

Go with the 95. At 12 fpe it will be easier to cock than the 50. The slight extra weight should help with stability. You can always increase the power at a later date. In .177 you will always be sub 12 fpe with the 50.

At full power it takes more skill to shoot accurately, but at the same power level I doubt it. A little more weight, thicker(so stiffer) barrel, at 12 fpe I would give it to the 95.
