Haha my dad aint the picture taking types if you know what I mean. .. he's 61 he got it probably in 1960 it's an earlier crosman model the guy that fixed it was a cool old man too but the real thing is that this gun was just about the only thing that my dad had that was his before his father passed when my dad was only 17. So its just sitting pretty in the corner and doing it's purpose that way I will maybe put up a couple more pictures since people out there like it. It's hard to post pictures because of the 200 kb picture size limit sorry
I bought a new Benjamin Trail XL1100 and have been tinkering with it. My father started talking to me about pellet guns and shooting in general. Before I knew it I had an old Benjamin 310 in my hands and then he handed me the Crosman 400. I haven't shot the CR 400 so I have no idea if it works or not. The Benjamin does work. Do you know when these guns were manufactured? My father has started handing down his collection of "powder" and "air" guns to me. I would like to do a similar restoration to the CR 400. I'll go shoot it and see what shape its in. It looks beautiful and practically unused, so maybe it is still good or maybe the seals and rings are all dry rotted by now. Any info about the CR 400 would be appreciated. Pete
