Co2 FILL STATIONS IN THE UK

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere, but . . . . . it seems it's not always easy to get your Co2 bottle filled unless you bought it from the same place as is going to do the re-fill.

Perhaps anyone who knows where it is possible to get an in-date Co2 bottle re-filled, whether or not it has been purchased from the same place, could post details in reply.  We might even end up with something which could form a directory . . . !!

You may check with your beverage supply distributor.  They supply Co2 to restaraunts, Pubs, etc.  that sell carbonated fountain drinks. If you're talking about a commercial bottle, you may have to do a trade-out program with them, when it empties.

Thanks for the above - I should have made it clear sorry my mistake!!

I intended this to refer to those of us looking to re-fill  "field" sized bottles for example 12oz/ 20oz or similar. Dave.

Wupps...my mistake.       Well that's pretty stinky that they only wanna fill "their" tank.    What about a fire extinguisher service company?  They may have your fitting size, or adapter to mate you and fill your tanks.

Thanks Bullit - that's an idea! Such places (any places!!) would be a welcome part of this thread. I'll look into this locally to me and post any useful feedback.  Cheers, Dave.
