To Browning Leverage, or Not to Browning Leverage....

  I recently bought a RWS 34P (Nice Gun!) but went to go shoot with my buddy who has a Daisy Target rifle and was amazed in the difference in accuracy between the two.  He was shooting .4" groups at 10m.  The accuracy on the RWS wasn't bad, it just wasn't that good.  I have two acres with room to shoot and I really didn't want a low velocity gun (Pest Control) just for the accuracy, so I'm stepping up to a .22, if I cant pin place my round it's at least going to be a Bigger round     
  I don't want to spent a ton of money.   I know It's a Chinese re badge, but this Browning looks like a nice option.  Is there another avenue I should be looking at before I pull the trigger on this gun?

have you tried diffrent pellets? some guns that are exactly the same like diffrent pellets . im lucky as all my dianas  seem to digest cheep cphp's from walmart . but id get a pellet sampler and see if you find that sweet shot pellet

The browning and the RWS are not in the same league.
The rws will blow it away. Need to get a sampler pack of pellets and find its favourite ammo.
These guns can be crazy accurate with practice and the right combo of pellet.

Just sold the RWS thats why I'm asking    + I do want to go up to the .22   I was really excited when I saw a refurbed .22 RWS 48 on airdepot, wanted to sell my gun first, and they didnt last. LoL

      Rick Eutsler of AirGunWeb.com did a review of the Hatsan mod 95 in .22 cal.  Looks pretty sweet. Shot a five shot group of .304" at 10 yds. Wish he would have went on out to 20 yds.

Does your friend own a Daisy pneumatic air rifle?  Learning to shoot a spring air rifle compared to a CO2., pneumatic or PCP is a learning challenge.  You may like a multi pump pneumatic it would be a lot easier to shoot accurately with less practice.  With out practice and experience with spring air rifles you may get the best and still be out shot by your friends Daisy. JMO

That RWS 34P was very capable of 0.4" groups @ 30m with the correct pellet/hold.  Inherently accurate.  Although fixed barrel, the Browning Leverage/Xisico XS46U is a step down from the RWS rifle, imho.  If you are seriously considering the Browning Leverage, you might want to check out the Xisico XS46U... it's basically the exact same rifle for about $100 less. 

BTW, my cheap Crosman 2100 was more accurate than my springers until I became proficient at shooting springers.
