Hatsan 95 home tune

Has anyone done a home tune on there hatsan 95, just wanted to ask a couple questions to someone that has before I tear into mine.

Well after I posted this To try to get a few questions answered I said the heck with it and jumped right in, I wanted to give it a lube tune but was afraid to tackle the trigger housing and the what if I screw the seal up concern... Got her apart and yes the trigger housing is a bit tricky but the real trick was the awkward plastic housing in front of the spring that holds the even trickier safety mechanism!! Got her apart did a nice debur and polish, surprisingly the worst part was the cocking foot, the slots on the receiver were not bad at all. A little heavy tar and some molly in the right places and Ive now put about 50 rounds to see if I had any issues.... I will say this as much as I love this gun it would sure benefit from one of JM's softer parachute seals, the stock hard plastic is just too hard hitting. Well, when someone starts making spring and seal options now I can jump right in and not worry about the unknown!

Glad to hear you got it done.Did your piston seal look good thou?Mine in the 135 is a little hard but still has flexability which is good.Get you a digital caliper to see what size wire and seal you have and before to long someone will post measurements of these guns.Your shot cycle should be alot better and smoother with the lube.

Yeah the seal looked ok just really hard, that spring is a monster, quality piece for sure. Does the 135 use a top hat inside the piston or just a lower spring guide?

No tophat in the 135 just the back spring guide. That's a nice gun you have I've been eyeballing them in 22 cal. and not a bad price.

Cant beat them for the price, very accurate but beastly!

Too bad you couldn't post any pics. I want to tear mine down but am afraid to mess with the trigger. They say they are a real pain.

Nut, The trigger is what I was afraid of, it wasnt nearly as hard as i thought, the pins that hold the parts in dont just fall out easily as ive read somewhere but could be pushed out if not careful, there is one part that is a little tricky that involves a pin and the sear, if you ever plan to pull it apart just pm me and i can speak to you by phone to walk you through it, i actually think the way the trigger group comes out easier than my shadow once you get past that one part.
