I'd go after a rocker safety Sheridan. failing that, the benji 392. the 392 shooting the light JSB 13.4 gr pellet will be quite flat on 5 pumps, and can be flatter still at higher pump count. that the 392 can have its use envelope expanded further than the others is very useful. At some point youcan get totally nuts and get tim at Mac1 to seriously power it up. The sheridans I have with his guts in them can shoot 19 FPE with JSB Exacts, and more than that on heavier pellets.

The 13xx guns can be set up exactly how you want it then changed the next day to fit what ever you need then. Tons of mods and potential. If its mostly targets the 13xx will handle that and close in hunting. Add a tko break to it and nobody will know what your up too.

Where I live in Europa, I can't buy a Daisy 880, looks to much like a "real" rifle... Again the Benjamin is a great, versatile rifle, but it costs 2,5x as much as the Norconia/Webley Rebel or the Crosman 2100.

So my list is getting down to the

Norconia/Webley Rebel
Crosman 2100
Crosman 1322

From a ready out of the box and shoot perspective, I have a slight preference for the 2100 (had previous good experiences with Crosman and the Norconia is unknown for me..), but the 1322 has the preferred caliber (but needs a custom stock to become at least a carabine).
