ive been searching around looking to add to my airgun collection, I do not have a pumper of any sort i thought of the 1377 but i really dont care for 177 much although i own 4 177 caliber airguns now but i seen the bugout which is 22 caliber think it says 480 fps just hought it would be a fun little gun to have to shoot some cans and maybe do some mods to later on its only 69.00 what is your opinions on the backpacker model? id rather have co2 but thought this would be fun when im low on co2

i dont know about the 1322 it says 2289 ive read about every article on here and some refer to it as a 1322 and others diferent. im so new to airguns dont know what a 1322 is. My point is i dont own a pumper and for 69.00 i can get this and i can take the stock off and put it on my 2240 and when i am low on co2 i can shoot this and being a 22 i know from my 22 and 177 the 22 hits alot harder

Now days the 2289 is basically a carbine version of the 1322;
Shoulder stock, better pump arm, 2" longer barrel, barrel band, front sight.
Definitely worth the 69 bucks if you ask me.
Left is the 1322, right is the 2289:

Yep, basically a 1322 (1377 is .177, 1322 is .22, that's why people call them 13XX most of the time...) with a removable stock, 2" longer barrel, better pump arm, and the other gimmick stuff in the package for cheaper than you can buy a 1322 and the stock... I got one when they were $75 at wally world and am liking it... you'll want to order a fiber optic sight for it though as the stock blade is too narrow for the stock rear sight when used as a carbine, is fine in pistol form.

Does it come with standard grips? That isn't clear from the pics they show, and a removable stock isn't worth too much with them.
Which fiber-optic sight did you go with?

I haven't gone with a fiber optic sight yet, but they're only a couple bucks from Crosman's service department (the sight is on the new Pumpmaster 760's). They don't come with standard grips but you can put them on if you wanted, if you get the grips for a Marauder pistol (model 1701) from the parts department they are less than $2 a side (and better looking than the normal 13XX/PC77 grips) I think which I'm going to get a set for myself along with a spare 2289 pump arm for one of my 1377's.
