Haha thats hilarious, thanks for the AoA link Ksqrd, if you read to the end, after the reviewer tells you how great it is, he realizes he's got the scope mounted on its side.... Um..ok. lol, pardon me mister, can I have another? * if nothing else you don't admit that :-) *. luckily though, it focused for him at 3 yards.. Just so everyone knows, my upcoming review will be D&A free... I promise a good review nikko and all, i'm using it(right side up) on several different guns and using it several times every day. I am liking the scope more in some ways but still resent it for not fitting in my BKL 1pc rings and for the absolute poopykaka turret caps. Another positive I found today is that one has a HUGE range of adjustment, go 40 clicks and you've really covered some ground, click back 40 and your darned close, real darned close to where you started. Everything about the turret system on this scope appears VERY well developed and is superior to the hawke & leapers its been compared to. Another worthy plus. Nikko, I think the reason I wouldn't purchase another of these is that for not much more I could be into a burris(phillipine made) AO or a tad more a leupold. The leupolds i've had in the past have been uncomparable, 4x on a leupold is 7x on some others, liquid crystal clear, bright, lightweight..made in US. And i'll bet amazons just got a typo about the chinese manufacturing, mine says phillipines i'm 99% certain. Alright, few more days and i'll try to compile some of this. Jeff

Looking forward to that review, Jeff.
I can't wait to hear about it from someone who is not a reviewer but rather a regular dude like me.

Glad to say...
Nikon responded to my query about reviewing the scope. I have one on the way... I'll be giving it no quarter, and it will be the first of my blogs for 'scopebusters'

Now I'm curious.
Was there anything you liked about the scope?
Which Vortex scope did you get?
Thanks!
