hello all,my discovery came in the mail a few weekends ago and i have been putting about 70 pellets through it every other day since. and yesterday it got a pigeon, i wasnt shooting but the cats didnt care... back on topic, i want it to be quieter
1 i know TKO has muzzle breaks out but are their any other ways
2 do you guys recommend a certain length of break, if so, why?
3 i fill from a scuba tank, teh adaptor i have doesnt have a hose, where can i get those steal hoses
4 is a power adjuster / new trigger really necessary, im mostly a plinker, small time pest control type shooter
5 i currently have a 3-9x32 scope, at 50 yards, a bullseye looks a little small. are there any more powerful scopes around the 40-65 dollar range?
6 my train of thought has ended but im sure i will have a question here soon

You don't want a brake you need a shroud, either baffled or unbaffled. The baffled would be better.
Neither a new trigger or power adjuster is necessary. The trigger might help for more consistant shots. The adjuster is for variable power, you wouldn't need full power on a sparrow.
Joe Brancato carries tank accessories and such.
I like something in the 4x12x40 range for that range. You might be able to pick up a used Leaper or Tasco in that range.

You can get a Centerpoint 4x16x50 at Walmart for around $69 bucks and they are very decent scopes that work extremely well on PCP's.
You can also check Straightshooters for PCP supplies such as hoses and such, here's their link. Just click on the PCP Supplies section, they have whatever you may need

As for the TKO.. there is no better investment. I have one on both of my discos and the only word to use would be "awesome".

I was going to recommend the Center Point 4 x16, that is what my disco sports. Works good. The power adjuster is not needed until you want to fine tune the rifle for shot count. Aftermarket trigger bits are nice, but again not needed. A simple polish and lube will help the trigger a bunch. As for the muzzle brake,I feel that it just may get you a lot from the law. i know a lot of guys have and use them, but.....
The Disco is a great little rifle that is a ball to shoot. Have fun and shoot safe.

thank you guys for the replies, i think the first thing will be the scope, then the shroud. the stock trigger doesnt bother me very much at all
