Old Crosman 150

Was cleaning out a closet and found my grandfather's Crosman 150 which I forgot I had. I don't see a serial number anywhere on the gun. Is there a way to tell when it was manufactured? It is missing the front sight and the pin that holds the cover closed, and it leaked co2 the last time I remember trying to shoot it.

Sorry I can't answer your question, but I felt like I had to respond because I had a gun exactly like that one long ago when I was a teenager.

mdl 150 : First variant  w/two piece barrel and breech  1954-1956

Second variant : One piece barrel and breech .  1956-1967

Nice gun they were made from 1954 to 58 they shoot very good and pack a nice punch. They are easy to work on and seal kits are out there. Some parts also can be found. here are a few links that should get you shooting. This one was my dads i rebuilt it but dont have the heart to refinish all of the memories from it.

I'm currently working on purchasing one that looks exactly like like yours except it has a front site.  Looks like it is in great shape.  Seller is asking $85.  What would you say is a fair price?

No rust, no cracked plastic grips, no missing parts,  $85 thats a good price,  even if it doesnt hold air, they're easy to fix and you'll have a good strong shooter once resealed.
as for your 150 , check with B&A, they might have the front sight and screw and the pin to hold the sliding bolt cover.
