I'll tell you............................the best dang fun I have had in a while cutting dandy weeds into with a shot!  Have I said how much I love my HW97k?  Good gooogly mooogly this gun rocks!

Heh heh, did that last summer.  Only I was just blowing up the weeds' flowers...not accurate enough to shoot at the stems.  Oh yeah....I was shooting from 30+ yards away.

yup do the same thing with my hammerli 850.at 25yards it is almost as much fun as the cat tails at 120 yards with the r.a.m,air guns rock,you are so right.

Nice shooting 97's are the shiz niz IMO the only guns I have that shoot as well are my Pro Sports! congrats!

Now that is a fine bit ov sport. Did some myself with the RX2 this afternoon. Had some accuracy issues( not to mention scope issues ). Got a Leapers G-I dialed in and put a few through the dandy weed seed clusters. This at 50 yds. Usually it just carved a hole in the thing but 1 in 3-4 and hit the center for a satisfying puff. Then I got out the tractor, lowered the 60" deck and did it wholesale...not nearly as much fun...

I also brushed and patched the barrel with jus' a wee bit of CLP. That thing was cruddy. Shoots like new now...

yes it is . the other day i was setting out back and was looking at a small sprout . click the litebub in my head came on ,wonder how many 177's would it take to shoot it off ? it was about 1 " took 14 shots and it laid down
