Thanks Mark! I just may do the 50 now. I mostly shoot at 40 yards so a little more power is good. Looks still low enough power to shoot the lighter stuff and a little nicer stock too.
Isn't help spending someone elses money so much fun.

I don't think you can go wrong with the HW30 especially for under $300. However I think the HW30s (with the 'S') comes with the Rekord trigger, so make sure you get that one.

Dustin I agree! I knocked a crow off at 40yds with the 50's I had with a good body shot! he flu about 30yds and landed in a tree with his wings spread out stuck between 2 limbs and hung there for a few mons before the wind finally blew him out of there!

Been thinking about picking one up for my daughter. My girlfriend is spoiled with my FWB's do there's no turning back for her. I think I ef'd on that situation. But my baby girl really needs a 'good' gun to plink with her dad on weekend afternoons.

@tjk
Watch the LoP.
The HW30/R7 is still an adult size rifle. My R7 has a 14" LoP.
If you daughter is less than 5'6", you may have to shorten the stock.
I'm 5'4" and my best fitting rifles have a LoP of about 12".
