just got a new gamo big cat as a gift whats normal speed over the crony?

I just tried a diffrent approach to the hollow stock. i cut a 1x4 off  3.5" long and used 1 wrap of flooring pad. it went in tightly then i put some more pad rolled up tight behind the 1x4 .now it balances better and i notice its lots easier to hold on target. at first it seemed barrel heavy. the small piece of wood matched the weight of my scope and realy balanced nicely . the scope i have on it is sorta heavy

Robert, I've posted on this before, and I had success with imbedding 6 ounces of lead weight (1oz. flat bank sinkers were used, nested together about 1/8" apart, into the rear bottom of the buttstock of S1Ks (Shadows).  I used silicone to bed them and left it cure for 5 days, then I stuffed it with a high density piece of foam.  That weight DOES make a nice difference.  I did 8 ounces on my CFXs with the same success. Yes, that balance does make it much easier to keep on target.   Enjoy!

kymike ,it sure does. i was wanting a light gun for carry and this gun fits but seemed barrel heavy. i kept thinking what was an easy solution and easy fix? looked at the new flooring i put down and snap i had my idea light snap on. didnt add enough weight to notice , but aim notices . its windy outdoors now but still got some fair groups even with the wind . now when the tuna trigger gets here , be another gun all over . charlie should like me . this is the third trigger i got from him and if it works half as good as it did on those crosman guns this might be a sleeper in the rough

Can you get a better fitting guide shadow? i just got an email from charlie that my trigger is shipped. and i have to break it down so if its apart it would be a good time to put a tighter fitting guide. but this gun is definatly better than the 1 i returned. and its lots better than both crosams i had . and nate i found the spring was canted and it was broke in the first coil. i would have kept it but new and was afraid it might have been scored inside where the spring rubbed. so far this 1 is doin lots better and i have already shot 2 tins of cphps through it as well as mabe 100 benjamin discoverys . it took several starlings today when i was working on my truck at the bosses place. he has a big flock of starlings . he and i both killed about 50 today he is wanting a big cat now

got my tuna trigger installed and deburred it . removed a bunch of grease . made a new set of spring guides from delron . seal was ok and spring wasnt canted yet . hope the new guides prevent it from canting . was dark when i got done but it has a real nice smooth pull and breaks nicely like my diana 34 t0-1 . tomorrow im hoping to punch paper and hope the groups tighten up a tad
