1377 first shoot

Ok, gun arrived earlier this week but I didn't have any spare time so I didn't get to shoot it till today. Here is my impression.
It came in the dreaded bubble packaging. F'ing HAAATE that but the razor knife took care of it.
Got it out, gun looks awesome with all black stock and forearm. Oiled it with pellgunoil as per instructions.
1377 noobs, listen up, this next bit of advice is for you, don't be ME! When the instruction manual says pull the bolt back and listen for 2 (not one, two) clicks DO SO! I made the mistake of yanking the bolt back like a PB and the gun would NOT FIRE! Pull it back slow, hear click 1 stop then pull it back again till you hear click 2, THEN you can load the pellet and it will shoot.
Trigger pull was nice and smooth, much better than my powerline 201 which is brutal.
I didn't get a super group, but that's me, I have no doubt at all this gun can group better than I can aim. I haven't shot too much recently and most of my old shooting experience was with rifles. I have some work to do tightening up my groups. Target in pic was shot from around 12-15 ft distance.
One more thing, at recommended min 3 pumps gun was NOT too loud to shoot inside my apartment. This is an absolute dead necessity as I have no where else to shoot it, so I was happy it passed the noise test.

Nice purchase. I am just about to leave to Wally world to look at those. No $ but doesn't hurt to look. Thanks for the tip too if I get one someday.

If you do a Trigger Tune and find a lighter sear spring, you will be AMAZED how much better your groupings will be.....I really love my 1377 for target shooting in my small backyard...

Hi All:
GungaDin what i did for my trigger was go the hardware store get a #90 spring cut a 1/4" off of it ,get a spent .22 cal case insert it into the spring.Make sure the casing top is flush against the sear. Next take a #29 drill and drill into the trigger guard and run a #8-32 tap then insert a #8-32 set screw .Run it all the way up to touch the trigger then start backing it off until the trigger releases then you should have a really good trigger. Crosshairs was right there are plenty of people that are willing to help all you got to do is ask.

I want to shoot it as is for a while before tinkering with it. The group I got wasn't horrible but certainly not great compared to what others here produce. Then again it's the first time I shot it, I think even without any mods some practice with it will tighten up that group. I need to adjust the sights a little too, it shoots a little bit to the right. I like the nice wide holes the wadcutters produce compared to what I was getting from bbs shot from my 201.
