Feral Cats ... talking wild mean and knarly felines !!

Without condemning or condoning such actions, I just thought I'd mention that here in Bakersfield, CA, a man was recently arrested for solving the feral cat issues in his neighborhood by killing cats, and eating them...I'm sure some people from certain parts of the globe think we're crazy...

The issue I have with that is this . Lets say this man owns a $200,000 car and he like to park it outside his house which may I add he has the right to park whatever he wants on his property. Now lets say a he has 3 feral cats that jump up on his car and ruin his $30,000 paint , now my question is if his NOT allowed to take care of hat problem then will the city pay for his paint EVERYTIME the cats ruin it ? Thats the question I would ask of anyone.

Heck I would take them out for ruining the paint on my SUV I paid $5,500. for. I'd just let Dowser out the gate if I saw a cat on my hood. Sorry but that's the way I feel. Pets are animals that should be taken care of and restrained from doing damage to another persons property. Animals that free roam and or become feral are pests and problematic. My mom's dog was shot for chasing a cow once. This dog was a pet that got out repeatedly or got away from my mom it lived after multiple operations only to suddenly die about 18 months later. I was angry at the rancher and almost went out to take revenge on him by killing the cow but then I really thought it out. The dog was a pest and problem that could have cost the rancher thousands of dollars of damage. He was in the right to shoot the dog. These feral cats fall right into the same category, but how do you know for sure it's feral?

Easy, it has no ID/rabies tag. Bonus points for having game cam pictures of said nuisance animal in my attic.

A real ferral cat will behave and look totally different than any pet cat you'll ever seen, .......took 3 of them in the last 2 weeks, they try come in and beat up and steal food from our cat pets (3 in my neightborhood ), they are hard to hunt since they are pretty much strictly nocturnal and extremely wary, it takes time and effort but it's worth it, they gotta be taken care of.

True that. When I lived in the Caribbean we had the same problem. You could sit on the porch in the evening and unless the moon was out you wouldn't even know they where out there. Unless you shined a light toward the high grass on the property line. I quit counting at 20 SETs of eyes.
