Tuning results question (stoeger x20)

I have done a ton to this gun.
I made custom top hat and guide to fit a Tarantula spring. I cut it so it has 12 fpe at the muzzle.I added weight to the stock.
Now she likes H&N ftt's but it is the hold that gets me. Before it liked to be floated like the artillery hold. Now it wants to be held into the chest/shoulder and the wrist gripped with a loose hold at the forearm.
Seeing this has never happened to me before is this normal.. Accuracy is very good, just thrown off by the sudden change in hold preference.

Rob AG's can be funny when you tune them and I've had similar experiences, something you've done in the tune has made the gun hold sensitive possibly the spring you used or the top hat it sounds like you have something un balanced inside there! did it shoot good before you did the tune? I had a buddy who used one of those springs in a tune and he had nothing but trouble with it and he went to another spring set up and the rifle went back to the way it was before on the handling just my thoughts

Thanks Mark!
I had already made A spring guide but no top hat. The guns firing cycle was very violent with this spring. It was accurate but had to be floated if it touched your shoulder the shots went everywhere.
I removed that spring guide. Made a tighter one and a top hat that fit tightly.I made them out of hard plastic Rods.
I cut 3 coils off the spring. It is real quite and docile now, and likes to be held firm. The recoil is not much.
Shoots accurately at 12 fpe, and the firing cycle is sweet.
When this spring goes I will put the E3650 spring in and reduce the guides to fit.
Thanks for the reply Mark!
