The second pic makes it look like there is ding...no ding.just reflection off one of the screws.

Nice looking, back at the prime of airguns if you ask me........

they had the process streamlined, automated enough to put out a consistant product, but still made them from quality materials, and Americans did the QC right here on our own dirt.

Very good looking gun, that series.   The 2100s would be if they were still constructed the same.

Reminds me of an old semi-auto 30-06 my buddy used to have ......

Nice 766! It's in better condition than mine... I see you have the original BB reservoir cap.. As you know parts were missing on mine when it was handed down to me... Do you own the old metal Japanese made Crosman scope to pair up with it? I know that was THE COMBO to get back in the day...

No I don't have the scope....but what I have is a Bushnell Custom 22 rim fire scope that I paired it with way back when these were new.  I remember paying $12.00 at Big 5 for that scope back then. LOl....great Japanese made scope.

Did you call that guy about the parts for yours?

Rick said he sold the last one to you... I may just do a custom job with a 7/16 barrel and wood with my 766. I'll keep the plastic one as a "switch out," since that top exposed grub screw makes it easy to change the barrels out on our guns..

Yep That's the new NOS barrel.....rick didn't have a nice used one?   Try the other one I told ya about.  Or wait a bit ..sometimes I'm like a blood hound.....i'll find one somewhere. LOL

Well the 766 got a new home today.   
The gentleman Who purchased it is very pleased and I'm certain the 766 will be well cared for.

And no my Silver pumper is not next ...LOL
