^+1 For the education of us noobees, it would also be nice to know what gun(s) this applies to, what it is, why it is cool, etc. I assume it is just a means of changing the port diameter...?...anyone?

It allows people to yes change port sizes but also in my case I want to get a riser block and full shroud for my disco..
With sergio his riser block kit is 70 bucks with the riser block, extend cocking pins and transfer port.. if I can make my own transfer port then a riser block is fairly easy to make with pvc and boiling water.. thus saving me 70 bucks since I could make my own rsier block kit and only have to shell out dough on a full shroud w/internals and a end cap
