I have finally got my CDT Trigger installed and today tried out the rifle for longer range accuracy.
The range I shot at was 40 yds.
The CP scope leaves a lot to be desired and does not do credit to the fine Air Rifle. The Point of Impact changes with change in Magnification.
The AO setting do not match the actual range for Parallax "Null" and I had to set it up manually.
There is slight distortion in one of the lenses which can be seen as I look through the scope. Its not bad but it could be better.
At 40 yds I was shooting groups that were 1/4 inch high but strung out sideways over 2 inches or more .
I thought about it for a while and then realized that as I was shooting off of Winchester Bags front and rear, the sling swivel stud on the butt was catching on the rear bag and throwing the shot off. Removal of the stud remedied the problem and the rifle started to shoot tight groups where 5 shots were often touching and in the same ragged hole.
This air rifle is certainly capable of good accuracy at much longer ranges but maybe not with the CP scope. The CDT Trigger is a must for any accuracy. My first shot using the new trigger caught me totally unprepared and was a flier.

Looks like you've got a keeper! If that scope continues to be an issue, give Crosman a call, they'll make it right...

I have found twice now the stock screws become lose and make the gun shoot fliers too. May want to make sure they are snug and if not use some loc-tite on them before seating them back.

I'm using CPHP's.
Yes those screws shoot loose. When I undid the rear stock hold down screw the complete stud that holds the trigger on as well came out as well.
I put it back with some blue toctite on the threads.
I'm going to try it at 100 yds soon.

I discovered an interesting thing.
When I push a tight patch through the bore, At first it's tight at the breech end , then about 1/2 way down it slides easier, then towards the muzzle it tightens again, The bore isn't dirty and the patch slides at all times. I just wonder if the bore has a choke to it.
