Hi Gang Any one got one of these rifles? Have a few questions.
Looking for a good friend of mine for a gift. He only targets shoots but is not big on .177's. He prefers .22.
I'm interested in the real FPS of the .22 and .25.
Hows the trigger?
How about tuning? Needed , helps or a must.
How about tune kits? Maccari , Vortek ect.
He shoots 50 yards or less.
At the moment he shoots a .22 Gamo CFX that I tuned for him. (Last Christmas gift) This Christmas was looking for something with more power for him with some nice wood.
Thank you
Dustin

Don't know about the power but, for around $350, the walnut stocks look mighty nice. Have heard only good things about them, too. Paul Raine just sold one in .25 over on the Yellow. Might email him and ask how it shot. I think he also has another in .177. (BTW, can I be your friend?

I used to have one in .177. If you get one, go with .22 or .25. The rifle is too powerful for .177 IMO. It is a nice rifle with good wood and solid triggers

Thanks Red Funny you mentioned the yellow ad. Thats the one that sparked my interest.
Airscopes shows them for $300 and SS for $285 beech. Looks like a deal to me. Trying to get a feel if it maybe better then getting a T06 34. Something different anyways would be nice.
Friends sure ,but it takes lots of help on my home projects before you make the list.

anywhere from 700 to 780 on the velocities of .22 fusions and fenixes. i tune mine to shoot toward 20 ftlbs. mine are generally a smooth 19 ftlbs after the tune settles, which is 770 w/ the 14.3 cphp's. they are great guns. i'm about to sell my other .22 rws 94 w/ open sights and my most accurate airgun, a mint cond .177 rws 93.

Thank You everyone. I ended up picking him up a T06 34 .22 as I know he likes my T05 34 .22.
Thanks again!

FPS isn't everything. My 34 T05 shoots 730 with 14 grain. GRT tuned apex seal. My friend took a 60 yard shot at a 1 inch square steel target with my 34 and nailed it. Ever since them he liked it. I think he will be happy.
Thanks

I love the Cometa Fusion. If I needed a gun to take to an island -- that is it. Accurate, decent power, pleasure to shoot.
My 94 is another great gun... love the 220 compact. The lynx brought me to the dark side officially.
I love the cometa guns... I wish i could love their distribution system.
