Moly for springers

I used engine assembly lube when I tuned and lubed the Vantage 1200. Says moly and graphite extreme pressure grease on the label. Seems great so far after a teardown and re-inspection. Anyone try this, or is it stupid?

Time will tell. Keep us posted. How does the seal look & after how many shots?

not the right stuff, eventually it will seep into the compression chamber and cause dieseling or detonation.
used it several times, atleast something along the lines of that stuff( moly extreme pressure grease). Had to replace seals.

Air rifle headquarters.com has the right moly.
