Any Suggestion For CO2 pistol 1911
«

I'm looking for a 1911 replica air gun.
I have a Barrett P4 storm co2 the has a “blowback” slid that's pretty cool and I'm looking for a 1911 co2 that has a the same thing. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

Maybe there is one around out there somewhere, but the only easily located 1911A1 replica CO2 guns with blowback that I could find were all Airsoft only.
There are several different makes and models of conventional pellet replicas of the old Colt, including a few from Colt themselves; but all of those are standard shooters, at least that I found.
Just my opinion here, but the whole "blowback" thing strikes me as just a gimmick anyway that only raises the price of air pistols with it, plus makes them go through CO2 far quicker and take longer to warm up again between shots for full power.
Again, just my opinion here, but blowback to me is more of a deal
breaker
than a deal
maker

Get the one made by Colt (Umarex):

Yeah, blowback is a deal breaker, because you lose fps due to some of the co2 being used to blow back the slide - all gimmick, no substance.

Right on LongIslandArcher, blowback is just power killer, you looking for a pistol with some kick ? sell the PX put the money on with the 250 bucks that you need to pay for the 1911 and get a HW 45 , grips feels like the 1911 it has some kick and shoots pellets with decent speed not like those 2 FPE toys

I also was looking for a 1911 pellet pistol with blowback. I previously tried several Beretta PX4 Storms, but they were either DOA on arrival from Pyramyd, or shot so poorly that they were returned. I found that pellets from the PX4 keyholed consistently and not a single pistol tried shot to point of aim with the fixed sights. They all shot high to one side of the target or the other at very close basement ranges.
Blowback factor was enjoyable, but as they say, only accurate guns are interesting.
Still waiting for that non-airsoft blowback 1911, not interested in the blowback desert eagle. Just my 2 cents.

I also agree the Blowback feature uses more co2 and may sacrifice accuracy. I'm not buying a co2 pistol with blowback for accuracy. All things have their place I just want one for fun. You do remember airguning can be just fun. Sometimes hitting the mark with an inaccurate gun is more fun. Besides how accuracy does it have to be to hit can at 25 feet. Sometime barns get in my way and I can hit that with any gun. LOL
I don't consider this category of gun accurate. They look cool and are just fun for plink’en.

Used to have lots of fun with a Daisy 15XT (looks like a CCW 1911) but the slide doesn't move on it. Blow back isn't a turn on for me, but I can see where it would be nice if I had a "real" 1911 (or similar) and wanted the air pistol for training or something so I wouldn't forget to keep my hands clear of the slide.

I would check the Umarex site. They have a lot of quality replica's... and then shop around.
