New Sumatra Owner

As a new Sumatra owner (.22 cal), I was just looking for some input. I did a search here and there is a wealth of info, thanks. But I was wondering what the enclosed tool was for (probably obvious, just not to me), it is a 3" steel rod with a nylon/plastic? end, any ideas? The manual did not say and I could post a pic if needed. Any other input would be appreciated, things to do or not do to this specific rifle.
Quality seems very good and it really shoots hard.
Thanks
Barry

I have a Career 707 in .25 but I bought mine used. I have no idea what that tool would before. Maybe you should ask the dealer whom you purchased the rifle from.Post a pic. of your rifle & this tool.Which model did you get?I like my .25 707 so much I am considering another in .22.The only thing you should not do is store your career with a full charge.Mac1 has has good reading about these guns.

Thanks for the reply. I was informed it is to seat pellets in the magazine if needed (revolver type). I got the 2500R with adjustable cheek piece (not carbine) in .22cal. So far I am very pleased with it. Loud but powerful and at 20 yds a ragged hole (quick test, no good rest) Looking forward to more testing, chrony, pellet wts ect.
Thanks Again

I HAVE a VERY WELL TESTED SUMATRA 500CC .22 ///
I SHOT EVERY FRIDAY WITH THIS RIFLE RIGHT NOW OVER 10,000 PELLETS THROUT IT. MY DISTANCE FOR SHOOTING IS 100 YARDS... WITH JSB 15.4 PELLETS. THE BEST PELLETS THAT WORKS FOR ME.
EVERYBODY TOLDS THAT HEAVY'S EUN JIN 28.4 AND 32.4 BUT...NA...NA.... FOR CLOSE RANGE OK ... I HAVE OVER 20 CANS OF THOSE EUN JIN PELLETS ON STOCK BUT RIGHT NOW I RECEIVED THE LAST WEEK MY SECOND ORDER OF 10 TINS OF JSB. FOR LONG DISTANCE I HAVE SUPER BETTER RESULTS THAN EUN JIN PELLETS. RECOMMENDATION..... LUBE YOUR PELLETS FOR ME IT IS A GOOD PRACTICE WITH THE SUMATRA ALSO A LARGE SCOPE HELPS ME A LOT FOR MY LONG DISTANCE RANGE SHOOTING. Now.... I HAVE ON TOP THE SUMATRA A new scope a BSA-STEALTH-TACTICAL 8-32X44 SCOPE. BETTER EYES FOR LONG DISTANCE, THAT IS MY SECRET TO COMPETE WITH POWDER BURNERS AT THE SHOOTING RANGE. THEY GET SURPRISE WITH THE BEAUTY OF THE RIFLE, THE NOISE AND THE PERFORMANCE.
HAPPY NEW YEAR

Yama,,do Not use your spare Valve stem to seat your pellets. That's the spare valve stem for your rifle.I'm not sure who informed you it was for seating pellets,,But they are Wrong.
Thanks,
Troy
P/S: And Manny's right,,I know love my Sumatra 500cc and it's pretty potent in .25 cal.
