swap the rings front to back if they are 2 pc ones. Make sure the recoil pin for springers is removed and not lifting a ring as well. I would then try some BKL rings before I blamed the rifle.
Terry have you tried sighting it in further out? You are shooting a .25 at ranges most scopes don't even focus down to. Maybe you should try shooting it at 20 yards and sighting it in
Terry there is a saying... You have to learn to crawl before you can walk. With that said during our conversations I can see that you would not be happy with any air gun. You just dont have the time and grade it takes to address the issues you seem to be having. You started off with a M-Rod and instead of working out the issues, sent it back and then bought an FX. There is nothing wrong with the FX except the inexperience you have dealing with common issues of setting up a gun.
