Disco Mods

Does anybody know of a tuner that can apply all the mods to a disco that a person might want? I am buying a Disco in the near future and I would like for all the mods that I want to be put on it at one time (tko, hammer spring, power adjuster, trigger). If this can be done, I would appreciate any suggestions. If not what would be the order to have them put on? I am in the blind. I will use the Disco for hunting and hunting only. I would love for it to shoot 18.1 and 21.4 grain pellets without any damage being done to it. Can a stock Disco do this? Any advice in these matters would be greatly appreciated.

I'd inquire to Mac1 or Mike @ TKO. The disco is a pcp, so those pellet sizes won't effect the gun like a they would a springer. They will work quite well for your purposes.

Do it yourself and save money. its extrmely simple ot install a power adjustor and heavy hammer spring. remove the safty, take out 2 screw in theback. pull ou the old spring and pu tthe new one in. screw back together. tko is just slide it on and tighten set screws. power adjustor is added at the same time as doing the heavy hammer mod. I dont use a power adjustor on mine though, gun has plenty of power after the heavy hammer mod and pumping to 2400 psi.

trigger mod is also very simple and theres a step by step video on youtube showing how its done. just takes 2 screws and a .020 spring or you can mess with pen springs .

seriously all of it is very simple to do and fun.

also the marauder trigger can be used on the disco and its a drop in. much better then the 2 screw mod.

also i shoot 18 gr pellets out of mine. the weight wont hurt a pcp gun like a spring gun

thing about the mrod trigger is the disco hammer has a groove in it, the mrod hammer does not it is smooth... yes the mrod trigger is a direct bolt on but over time the groove in the disco hammer smacking the sear when fired will eventually break the sear in the mrod trigger..

so i dropped in a crosman challenger hammer and striker to fix that issue.. but now i think but im not forsure that the challenger hammer is hitting the breech screw.. i cant know for sure untill my parts come in and i test the disco out after installing the new parts.. but with out the challenger hammer its ok to use the mrod trigger.. just know that one day some day the sear could break, you can order a new sear from crosman

a cut down ball point pen spring make a great light trigger spring and all these mods are super easy. unless you want barrel work everything is plug and play pretty much.

Or changing stock the to a Katana or other after market stock.

Nope direct bolt on swap, you might end to sand some of trigger slot on ur stock but other then that it will bolt and can be used with the og disco stock

If you tune the Disco past 28-30 FPE you will really lose shot count.... 18 gr. JSBs at 850fps is deadly (29 FPE)....

Disco Mods are easy for many of us to do. Doing them properly with allot of care is a necessity. Mac 1 and other pros's have the right formulas for modding these lil jewels...

I have never heard of the issue you speak of with Disco hammer and striker breaking the seer on an M-Rod trigger. But it does not mean it is possible. I own a Kantana which is basically a Disco with an M-Rod trigger. Still working great with no issue with what you speak of.

Yes you do have to hog out the trigger slot on the Disco stock in order for the M-Rod trigger group to fit. The Disco stocks do not have allot of meat in that area to spare.

Personally I opted to use the Kantana stocks available at Pyramyd Air for my mods and conversions when using the M-Rod trigger groups.

Gene when I got my mrod trigger I was using the aftermarket stock I had bought, since then I had switched to my disco stock. It took very minimal sanding on the trigger slot. But like most things crosman there might be a difference between one stock and another in terms of the inletting sizes...
